I have Windows 98. I don't have Excel. When I tried to instal the Excel viewer, the download screen flashed on and off, and crashed my computer. This has happened twice. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks, Garebo. It's a 1998 model. But the brightening feature does still work. It's happened a few times, when I hit the right combination of buttons. It's frustrating though, not knowing how to make it happen again. I've been fiddling around with it all night, and no joy so far. It darkens...
