i have a user who has a Acer laptop. all of a sudden their wireless connection stopped working. it used to use Windows to configure it and run but when i stop this it springs into life. as soon as i enable this option it breaks. I've seen something similar to this when there is 3rd party...
i have created a new network with the address range 192.168.20.0 - 255. Can anyone tell me how I can route this over the external NIC to our VPN tunnel start point, I've set up the network rule but it don't seem to be working

our server has 2GB of memory installed but is currently using 1.95GB according to the task manager.
can anyone tell me if this will be greatly effecting the performance of the system or will there only be a slight drop. its running SBS 2003 with Exchange also installed

i got it working, there was a registry change. here it is
Start Registry Editor (Start, Run and type in regedit then click)
Find "UpperFilters" and "LowerFilters" (and "UpperFilters.bak" "LowerFilters.bak", if they exist) value under the following key in the registry, and delete it...
i tried to get in touch but i kept coming to a page that said i had to pay for support, can you point me in the right direction?
also, what drivers do a virtual machine use even before i restored the system, do they use the Host's CD Drivers?

after a restore of my DC onto a Virtual machine for testing, the CD drive doesnt work, it appears in Device manager but says it can not start. i also tried to plug in a USB CD ROM but i get the same problem.
any ideas?

hi, we currently have a SBS 2003 domain and are coming close to our 75 user limit. can someone tell me if this solution would work?
could we build a new server 2003 server (not SBS) and promote it to a DC on our domain. then let replication occur and other things. then, eventually, demote...
i think the company want to keep it in house at the minute. thankyou very much for your help and suggestions, its exactly what we wanted to know. hopefully now we can act on this and get things running.

we are looking at sending 500,000+ an hour and it takes a few days to clear the queue. it is currently sending 15k an hour.
what is the device you are using to send 700k/hour, i think that would be ideal for us?

the machine has 786mb RAM but is using an IDE disk. do you know a rough figure for max emails sent per hour out of a fast and powerful server and not a dedicated device?
