    Import a Word DOC. into Excel

    Is your word document a table? If it is, then you should cut and paste it as you would within word. If you want to link it in Excel, then when pasting in Excel, select "Paste Special", then select "Paste Link". You can do the same from Excel to Word. Hope this helps.

    My daughter was doing her term-paper on my computer and for some reason Word stored that document as a default that opens up to her paper each time we open Word. How do we remove her term paper from the default and have it open to the usual blank page - Document1? Thanks for any help
