Site to Site VPN between ISA 2004 and ASA

Hi all, does anyone know of a guide to setup an IPSec tunnel between ASA and ISA 2004? We have lot's of tunnels to other ASA's and PIX's, but now we need one to an ISA server and I have no knowledge of this product :) Thanks! Aquila

    176 IP Range

That would be an ideal option, but we offer services to our customers. So we always need to connect to sometimes a few servers, sometimes their entire network. I can't wait until ip v6 is in use :)

    176 IP Range

The problem isn't really our network, the problem is the clients. We have several clients that use (parts of) the 10.x.x.x range. Since we usually control their firewall we can translate the addresses to new ranges. But now we have another customer that uses the entire 10.x.x.x range so that...

    IP blocking issues

Normally your host would limit the number of FTP connections you can have. It seems strange (and rude) that they would block you for this. good luck though!

Accessing An Internal Website Like an External User

Since your firewall will do NATing, the webserver is always aproached using an internal IP. If you want to approach the server with the domain name, you'll need to build an internal DNS with that domain name, or let your firewall do the DNS translation for you (Cisco's can do this, pretty easy).

Finding ip addresses in a LAN from the server.

Administrative tools -> DHCP (leases) or DNS (forward lookup zone) there you will find the clients with their IP address

    176 IP Range

We know if we use public IP ranges we cannot connect to those ranges. But we're using a big part of the 192.168.x.x range. One customer of ours is using the entire 10.x.x.x range. This doesn't leave much room for other clients. If we only need to connect to a few servers we could ask them to...

IP address reappearing in DNS (Win 2003)

how can I reinstall the TCP/IP stack? The AV trick didn't help. I should also mention I have a DHCP server running on this server, but it's disabled on the interface I don't want in the DNS...

IP address reappearing in DNS (Win 2003)

IP address reappearing in DNS (Win 2003)

Hi, our main Active Directory controller (Win2003) has 2 NIC's, 1 for our LAN, and 1 for maintenance. We don't want the maintenance IP to appear in the DNS, so we unchecked the option in the TCP/IP properties of the NIC. But still, the IP address appears in the DNS. I delete it every day...

    Connection Manager

Hmm.. I just had a typo in my file. So now it's working, but I get a message: Connection Manager needs elevated privilege to run the following custom action(s) to proceed with the connection: CMROUTE.DLL If I click 'Continu' it works as expected. Is there a way to disable this popup since...

    176 IP Range

we'r not using all of the space, but we would like to hide our internal RFC1918 range and would like to select 1 other range we propose to all of our clients (we have about 25 VPN tunnels). It would be convenient if the range we choose now won't be used by any customer of ours. In the meantime...

    Connection Manager

Hi! We use the Connection Manager of Windows 2003 to create a package we can distribute to our employees to install a new VPN. For XP Clients, this works nice, but Vista clients get this: * First he asks the clients if they want cmroute.dll to run (annoying, but ok) * Then after he connects...

    Affordable Backup solution for Exchange

We export our mail to PST's (exmerge) and then use ntbackup to write it to tape. This works great for smaller businesses (since you need the disk space for the PST's)..

    Error sending messages to domain

Hi all, Most of my colleague's can send messages to a certain domain, but if I send a message the message doesn't arrive and I don't receive an error message. I went looking into the SMTP log files and found these: 2007-10-03 07:04:18 194.78.242.236 OutboundConnectionResponse SMTPSVC1...
