    The easy way is just add effect glow and alter the settings....lol paths, no point in doing all that work!

    Can Flourescent Light sitting on a monitor damage it?

    Is there a power lead going to it accross the monitor at all? If there is this could be a problem as that happened to me ages ago, ruined a monitor because the power was causing some kind of magnetic field. Also speaks like said above never place them near the monitor.

    Have you checked the the recording options in Volume Control are set to your soundcard? sometimes there not so check that.
