    i the number part working, it was in change pub... now i'm greedy and would like to get the name as well.. the Definity side is definitely sending the name as it shows up in LIST TRACE TAC, but just getting the number on the IPO side

    i thought it meant any call TO a 5 digit extension starting with 4... which is what im doing... 9012 in definity dials 8612 in IPO... line code is 4 so they dial 48612 so you're saying the entry needs to list 9, not 4

    the definity side is the outgoing side that isnt including the number.... i displayed the call handling for the IP trunk and it is blank, but it shouldnt matter since that's the outside right? on the IPO side (incoming) i dont have this option of course...

    in looking further, this seems to only apply to ISDN trunks not ip trunks. When i specify the IP trunk it doesnt seem to save... i'm out of ideas!

    ok i checked on a few extensions, and they do have send per station CPN set to Y. I think i'll need a little more advice on the public-unknown piece.. thanks for yoru patience

    I'm a little confused exactly what you wanted me to check.. is this all in the trunk group? I dont see per station cpn, i do see send calling number is set to Y. the "format" says private, is that where it should be public-unknown? sorry, i'm a lot familiar with the IPO

    Everything was as you described, only Format was public instead of private. I changed it to Private, but can't test until tomorrow.. thanks!

    I activated the voice networking box, didnt change anything. However i was only able to Merge changes since its during business hours. I will try bouncing it after hours and see if it has any effect thanks

    Here's are my settings on the IPO side. G.711 ULAW 64K Enable Fast Start checked, nothing else I'm on 3.2(54). Phones are 2420's Thanks for the help!

    if its not sending anything, how come the monitor on the IPO clearly shows the number and name of the person on the 8500 side? If the info is in the log on the IPO, it seems like it could be on the phone. So how do you get CLID working between the two? You have to go QSIG?
