customer says he has no firewall except for external traffic. Just checked the versions and they are in line with the IPO version 3.1.56. I just plugged in my laptop and connected to the internet so it seems pretty loose but I still cannot get the speed dial to work even on my PC. On the...
Thanks JeSTeROCK,
seems like that is the issue here, tried pinging across all networks and devices and everything is okay. I will try the firewall approach tonight and see what happens.
I have a customer with multiple locations connected via MPLS network. I can load the Phone manager and it works on the customer PC but I cannot get the TAPI to find the IP Office. When I load the User cd it fails to find the Ip office yet I can ping it and connect to it VIA manager. Just...
I have no CMS links just 2 for IP phones and 1 for voicemail so technically i can use one of the ip phone c-lans to log the BCMR data. Thanks guys and I will try this in the AM and let you know if it works.
I currenly have a S8500 R3.1 with 3 C-lans used for voicemail and Ip phones. Can I also use one of those for BCMR and if so how? Seems like you must have a dedicated C-lan to get the BCMR to work or can I share a link?
Any Ideas!
we are 3.0.69 with a 406 in each location, we have the time offset parameter set on each location. For some reason each location still reports the time from the Dallas server which handles the voicemaail pro. Maybe I should upgrade to 3.1.56?
Don't think so, those phones have one line displays. You can activate Time of Day from the menu on those sets but I have never seen them both on the screen at once. The 5400 series phones should cure that problem.
I am trying to connect an Ip412 to a 403 VIA a WAN link and having problems. Can you connect two IPO VIA and PTP T1? I have a free T1 card in each unit and also have the WAN cable, Avaya has demanded i use the WAN cable but from reading some other posts it looks like you can ust the PTP. Any ideas?
