THE ANSWER IS NO. THE HARD DISKS XEROX USES ARE BASICALLY LAPTOP HARD DRIVES. EVEN THE CONNECTORS ARE THE SAME. THE PROBLEM IS, THEY ARE FORMATED WITH PROPRIETARY CODE SO THE PRINTER CAN ONLY UTILIZE THE OEM HARD DRIVE. THEY RAN OUT OF 860 HD'S ABOUT A YEAR AGO. SORRY MAN

I wouldnt recomend it. Each time they come out with a new solid ink printer, its just a touch faster. The ink had to be re-formulated each time to accomodate that. You have a good chance of plugging the jets if you interchange the ink. Also dont try to remelt the black ink in the waste tray...
