    DTZ-12D-3 vs. DTZ-12D-3P

The picture of the phone's label in the Amazon ad said DTZ-12D-3, that should be Stock Number BE113805. They get here and they're DTZ-12D-3P, Stock Number BE113862. Searching that number brings up non-US hits. Before I send them back, would they work on my SV9500 here in Tennessee? Thanks!

SV9500 - Hunting works when first phone in ASHP is DND but not when Busy

Guess that's why when I ran LMLA4 for 7810 it was showing up in the Line Appearance spot where 7819 should be according to AKYD... Everything's working after making 7810 a TEC18. Have a great weekend!

SV9500 - Hunting works when first phone in ASHP is DND but not when Busy

Recent upgrade of SV8500 to SV9500, but not sure when this issue started. This office has a mix of Dterm IIIs and Es. APHN station is 7810, 2=Phantom, real station is 7819. PH LIST: PH=0, PH STN=7810 (no other entries) ASHP 7819 -> 7825 -> 7816 -> 7820 Secretary Station is 7839, which is...

KX-TA824 - KX-T7731 How to go off-hook in Intercom mode

The setup is Jacks 1 through 5 are intercom only (no CO access) and in classrooms. They can also unlock the door. Jacks 6 and 8 are SLTs in offices that can answer COs, dial out and unlock the door. Jack 7 is the 7731 at the front desk, and I was hoping to duplicate the 308 with its older PT...

KX-TA824 - KX-T7731 How to go off-hook in Intercom mode

I'm installing an 824 in a Day Care Center that had an old 308 I put in years ago. With the 308 the main PT phone had a SLT jack in the rear, where they used a non-proprietary cordless phone and could unlock the front door for parents that pushed the button on the KX-T30865 door phone. The...

    Headset options (SV8500 / ITZ-12DG-3)

Currently I have a mix of 240 ETJ and DTP series digital, and 17 ITR series phones in the field. Users supply their own headsets, and as far as I know the few using them use the Plantronics (M10/M12) corded or (CS-50 w/HS lifter) cordless models attached inline with the handset cord. Looking...

SV9500 MWI... Still only SDT, or is FSK available now?

In 2015 with an AVST CX-E voicemail upgrade I switched all the 16LCBY SP3396 A 2A cards in our SV8500 to stutter dialtone and turned off the previous 90V MWI system. The latest circuit card manual I have is when the SV8500 was still an IPX, with no mention of FSK MWI available on any analog...

SV8500 - SIP extensions can't set FWD or do Call Pickup

The cancel codes worked fine, but the set codes didn't until it hit me I needed to add the xxxx after them (first time editing a dialplan, doh...). Giving you a star!!!

SV8500 - SIP extensions can't set FWD or do Call Pickup

I'm testing with a Linksys SPA922. We use "Pound 2" to set FWD-ALL and "Star 2" to cancel, and "Pound 4" for pickup. Normally pressing "pound" on the phone is the same as "send" and you would immediately get reorder tone before the other digit was pressed, so I've tried editing its dialplan...

    SV8500 & Grandstream - 1/2 talk path on off-campus calls

Just had SIP licenses installed in the SV8500, but because of IP PAD cards rev, had to go with SP SIP rather than Internal. Testing with a Grandstream GPX-1100 desk set, their HT-701 ATA and the latest download of Grandstream Wave for Android. Other than server IP and PW, the only other change...

    ITR-8D-2 Display Housing

In case anyone is curious, I got these pics from the vendor. After you remove the two Phillips screws from the base (the two closest to the display), the LCD display housing will pull out from the rest of the base. Then there are two more Phillips screws in the LCD display housing itself...

    ITR-8D-2 Display Housing

Any guidance on opening the housing to replace the LCD? I removed the two screws underneath the phone's base and separated the housing from the phone's base, then took out the two screws in the housing expecting it to open up. Must be a latch somewhere, but hoping someone knows where so I...

    SV8500 MCI Cable pinout

<chuckle> Connection via IP would have required NEC's and the University's lawyers to agree on contract language. That didn't happen. I appreciate your efforts.

    SV8500 MCI Cable pinout

Thanks for the reply. Let me clarify: I have a full wall (4 MG) IPX that was converted to SV8500. There is a single connector on the CPU, the octopus cable mentioned plugs into that, and breaks out to four RJ-21 ("50 pin Telco Connectors") in the first MG for the MAT, VM, SMDR etc. serial...

    SV8500 MCI Cable pinout

Does anyone have the pinout for the NEC "SV 4PORT CA-A, CBG-006271-001 G" octopus cable? I need to adapt the RJ-21 from TYP1 of the octopus to a DB9 for the COM port of a voicemail server. Thanks!

    2400 IPX DND check

Thanks for the response, but I must be missing something. DSTN can show me if I have a the DND button programmed on the particular station (AKYD), but where does it show me if that station is actually in a DND state?

    2400 IPX DND check

Is there a MAT command or other way to check if a station has DND (FKY 50) set? DCON shows the station as Idle, MBST shows it as 0, and in a DND state the station's Line Appearance doesn't light on another DTerm. I know if I call the station in DND I'll get a busy signal, but if the station...

GNAV rev 5 - roll to 2nd split timing

I think they were mistaken that the "roll" previously happened in one minute. It looks to me like it's programmed for around 3 minutes. Shortening the three 45 pauses before "Queue To Split 2" to 30 should knock 45 seconds off it, correct? 1 1 1 Pause 6 1 1 2 Announcement 2 1 1 3 Pause 16 1...

GNAV rev 5 - roll to 2nd split timing

We have GNAV rev 5 on a 2400 IPX R15. There are two splits, one for the IT Help Desk call takers, and when all of them are busy, after a minute a caller in the que will "roll" to the second split which is the Technicians, and they can take up the slack. Complaint is the "roll" is taking around...
