Hi I've been running version 4.7 of Acceler8DB for a number of years and it has worked fine throughout numerous AS400 upgrades. However we've just upgraded to AS400 5.3 and 8DB refuses to connect to the server - I'm getting an error "1301 : Value for parameter 2 not valid. CPF3C3C". Anyone know...

I've installed SCO Unix 5.0.5 onto an IBM Netfinity 3500 and have installed two network cards(at different times) - a 3Com and a Dlink. I've disabled the on board ethernet card as this has loose connection, but when I try an ifconfig -p net1 192.x.x.x command I get the following errors with...

    Unix Backup Software Advice??

I'm sure I've seen a similar post before but I cant find it anywhere. I'm currently backing up my SCO Openserver v5.0.5 using cpio. I'm not overly happy with this and am looking to bring in some professional backup software. Anyone any advice or products they would recommend or otherwise? Thanks.

    TAPE DRIVE PROBLEM

I have a 1/4 inch tape drive which will rewind, erase, write and read small files. However, if I try and write larger files(although not nearly large enough to exceed the tape/drive capacity), I receive and I/O Write error code 5.
