So if I understand correctly I can't just configure my BCM to use a Skype account as a PRI? I mean the BCM is already on our network and could access the internet (in theory)
Thanks for the quick reply.
We are using a new BCM50 and we've got 4 lines (1FL) for in/out calls. I've been asked to research the possibility to add a VoIP PRI to our system to increase the number of lines and to decrease our LD costs. Is this possible on a BCM50?
I've trie to research it but I must be honest, I'm not...
This is another one that has gotten me baffled...
I have a BCM50 with 4 incomming lines, I want to be able to call forward calls that terminate on my extention to an external number. I realize I may be using an extra line (would be nice if I could somehow transfer the call but I'll live with...
I have 8 Int Digital Set and 1 Exp port.
I presume I can have 8 sets on main module and more (not sure how many) on exp module)
Turns out I do have an expansion module, I moved the set to the 500 range port (expansion) and it worked right away!
Thanks.
Thanks, I don't believe it's on an expansion module. I've tried to hook this set on an existing port - replacing set and I still get the keycode reqd prompt on the set.
Can you point me in the direction to keycode enable the ports. I have access to the BCM50 Element Manager.
Thanks much.
I'm adding a set on my BCM50 and the set displays keycode req'd on the display.
When the tech installed my set on my desk, it showed the same thing, he quickly did something to my set and it activated itself.
There must be a function code to activate this set?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the tip. We are at vervios 3.11 and I believe you are on the right track. The first system I tried to go into 6.6 and it told me that the area code was not set in menu 1.
I then tried to do it on the system that is giving us problems and that one has the proper area code entered in...

In a specific location all MB are 5 digits. The main NXX comming into it is 674, our SMDI link receives the last 5 digits. There most MB are...
We just took over the management of our 81Cs (6 of them) and I'm trying to figure out how the DNIS table gets its number.
Our 81C are connected to Megas which are split in 3RTMs, we also have Symposium.
Here goes my Q.
If I have a tollfree number terminating on a LDN that comes in the mega on...
