I would like to setup several Audix systems, that do not have remote maintenance devices to transfer me to *10 for WinSPM. Can this be done? I am assuming that I could setup AA for transfer but what commands do I give it?
Thanks in advance.
I have a site that would like to main line to go directly to the day autoattnd and NOT ring on the console at all. Not my idea of a 'proper' setup but... Any ideas how to accomplish?
Thanks in advance.
I have a Legend R6.1 and one of the secretaries is asking for an 'in use' button that would show when boss is on phone (similar to a DSS button). Is this possible?
Thanks in advance.
All: I have a Magix R4 system that was just installed. I am relatively new coverage things so feel free to tell me if I am smoking too much 'crack'.
I set 5 extensions with 'Primary coverage' either ring immediate or ring delayed to cover the attendants extension. It still takes 8 rings...
Merlinman,
My users need to forward to their cellphone. Can I hard code the keystrokes onto the button directly? A user could then press 'forward' when out of the office, and turn 'forward' off when in office without all of the keystrokes. I have variuos revisions of Legends and Magix systems...
I had a site that their attendant's MLX-20L with DSS was down and could not figure out how to drop system out of Night Service remotely. Can this be done and how to do it?
Thanks,
Pepperz, I tried that but no luck. Some of the settings are: Switch type-5ESS, System: by extension, Base number 732933, NtwkServ-CallbyCall, Incoming Routing-bydialplan.
Any place else I need to look at or is time to have words with the LEC? Thanks,
I am being told by the LEC that the outbound digits for a call is a programming issue on my side. The existing circuit is pushing the ANI of 'bill to' number, not the extension making the call. Is this true and if so, how do I program a Legend, soon to be Magix, to do this?
Thanks in advance.
My employer has 254 toll-free numbers and 8000 CO lines (that I know of) spread among our branches. I do not get ANY billing information, especially if is an acquisition.
I will try all methods mentioned as a 'found' toll free number is almost a monthly occurrance. Thank you all for the info.
My apologies, but I thought AVT was out of business? I have a 12-port Audix in the warehouse I would like to use rather than spend $14K for new hardware.
Thanks in advance.
Hello all,
I have toll free number that has been in service since 1998, I cannot find out who the provider is. Any ideas?
I tried SBS800 datase but am not a vendor so they would not assist.
Thanks in advance.
sphoneman,
You need to update your information: http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/consumerfacts/unwantedfaxes.html
Basically, now you can fill out an online complaint form and the sending company gets slapped for $500 per incident.
Hi all,
I have a site that forwards phones like I drink coffee, very very frequently. Is there a report or screen on a Legend or Magix that shows all of the phones that have forward on or are forwarded to somewhere?
Thanks in advance.
Chris, Hal,
Thanks for the suggestions but to be honest the local operator is 'not the sharpest tool in the shed'. My apologies and I hate saying it but....
I have already sent the site the step by step instructions from Avaya's website. We do have messaging floating around but none of them...
I perform a ton of remote support for our group of Partner and Legend/Magix system. I am trying to determine how to conference myself (being remote) and a user on-site to assist them with maintaining AutoAttendant greetings, announcements, etceteras.
So if I call the office to work on the AA...
Thanks guys, I had the site pull transformer and plug it in again and voila, it works. Apparently printer tech had plugged DSS power in FIRST and then phone.
