My receptionist is getting this error on her softconsole.
“unable to obtain file lock for filter:.NOT.DELETED(), AND. KEYEQUAL(UPPER(PHONENUMBE), “70655266 “)
Has anyone received this error and do you know if there is a fix? I have not been able to find anything on the web or on Avaya.com.
I'm trying to install the client for mod messaging and when i enter the ip address for our mas or the name it states it's invalid. I have validated the name and ip address and it still wont take? Do I need to do something in outlook first?

I have some users who are using the 4600 series ip phones. IF they answer a call with the speakerphone or on the first ring, the call is cutting out. Has anyone experienced this problem?
We have some ip phones that are displaying dhcp conflict. They are new phones and are drop shipped from the manufacturer. We try the phones at a different location and dont get the error. Is there a problem on the server??

I'm not sure what you mean by pop up. Do you mean the display of the phone? I'm assuming this is a call coming through a vdn and going to a hunt group?
So when the user is on a call and another call comes in, the display on the phone doesnt show where the call is coming from?
I've tried that and it didnt work. I've also tried changing the name and nothing. The updated is done afterhours so it should work with no problems. Any other suggestions?
I have 1 name that is not updating on my scheduled import on the Avaya Softconsole. Has anyone heard of such a problem. I've made changes to the station name to see if that helps and no luck. Help!
I recommend recording an inclement weather message and dialing into the system and just change the vector to point to a different vector where callers can hear the message.
I usually had the greeting in the begining and then stated something like please stay on the line to hear the main menu.

We have a s8500 and the time is off by 20 minutes and it continues to happen. I'm used to going into the system and using set time but apparently that command doesnt work w/ S8500. What am i doing wrong?
