I'm setting up a VPN tunnel using Netgear FVS338 at the remote and FVS538 at the host. The VPN sets up, I can ping various devices at the host and also telnet to devices at the host but I can't browse or ftp. I've set up 6 sites the same way with no problem. I took this router to another remote...
Excerpt from the e-mail I received back from Netgear support:
"The issue you are currently having has been identified in several other cases and has been reported to our engineers for further review. We are currently looking into the problem for a solution, but at the moment there has been no...
I just opened a ticket with Netgear through their Powershift Partner program. I spoke with an engineer and then sent him a follow-up e-mail stating my specific problem along with a copy of this post to let him know we're all having the same problem. He's supposed to pass it up to Tier 3 and...
We thought we had it resolved but the problem came back. We first replaced the Treo and downloaded new Goodlink software but the problem was still there. Our Exchange provider upgraded Exchange and Goodlink server software and the problem was still there. They finally deleted my co-worker's...
My coworker has been working with the exchange vendor and Goodlink tech support and they're at a loss. We're both on the same carrier (Sprint). They had him reprovision his phone (2 times) and the problem's still there. Good support suggested that the exchange side be upgraded to the latest...
I've been using Goodlink on my Treo with a hosted exchange server for about a month now with no problem. Just installed it for a co-worker and when he adds an appointment on his Treo, 3 duplicate appointments show up on the desktop. I've looked everywhere and can't find a resolution. Any help...
FYI: Heard back from Tier 3 support today. I had sent them a monitor log file and they found a problem with a watchdog timer. They have sent me a patch that is supposed to fix the reboot problem. The patch only works with release 2.1(31) so I've got to upgrade the system to apply the patch.
I'm having the same problem at a site. The customer is using all analog phones w/ Phone Manager Pro and has figured out if they do a blind transfer from PMPro, the call forwards but a regular transfer doesn't.
Gary,
Thanks for the help! Turns out, there was a 2nd T1 connection to the Cisco gateway and luckily the customer had another un-used T1 card so I connected another circuit as TIE lines and am sending all external outgoing calls over the TIE lines and switch to switch calls over the PRI.
I just connected an NEC 2400 to a Cisco Call Manager via PRI. Station to station calling works fine but the Cisco can't call outside through the 2400. It's not a restriction thing. It has something to do with CDN 66 in the PRI B-channel route. The standard setting is 4 digits, which works for...
I have a customer with an Option 51 that wants an intercom key on his phone that he can press and talk to his assistant over her speaker without her having to lift the handset. Is this possible on the Option 51?
Finally got it working! The Greenbow VPN client doesn't assign a virtual adapter to the VPN connection and the local IP address in the VPN set-up didn't match my actual IP address. Once I changed this, it popped right up.
Thanks for the suggestions!
I am having little success getting Phone Manager IPRO working with a software VPN client. Started out using Microsoft VPN on 2003 server w/ the built-in PPTP VPN client. When that didn't work, I tried connecting to the Linksys RV082 router using the Greenbow VPN client. I get the same result...
