I have found the problem! The MTU size on the PC from where I was trying to upload the files had to be set to 256 or 512 bytes. Even then only the windows command line ftp client worked, other GUIs and the VAL Manager continued to let me down. Thanks Microsoft though I never really liked you...

If you use Traditional method make sure you set the IPSec encryption the same under the Encrypt rule. If you use simplified check it under the Community. sszokoly

Hi All! I am trying to upload a .wav file to my VAL board (firmware 7) using standard FTP client, setting the transfer mode to binary. Everything works but when the upload starts it gradually slows down to a 8-16 byte/sec rate which I guess -I could not wait long enough to see - eventually dies...
