Yes, where you call the stored procedure in the VBA code, pass the global variable as parameter.
e.g

With ADO.

Hey txaccess, you were right .. Thanks. When I replaced the macro with VBA code, the issue was resolved .. Quite weird. All my Macro was doing was setting value of a field to todays date.
And about the combo boxes, it always occurs with one combo box.
User types in a value not in the combo...

Specific client issues are that certains macros don't run and adp crashes.

It may be an issue with Sql Server permissions to the user... If the user has only public access to Sql Server.. Set the permissions for the public role to allow Select, Update, Exec etc...

Is there anyway I can open up the report in ADP first and then continue processing the query in the background? I could do this in forms by setting Max Records value. But I cannot find any such thing in Record properties. My problem is that some of my reports take very long to load. Please help.
