Hi big70, Next week, I will upgrade one S8700 from CM2 to 4.0. This is customer's test platform and I can do everything what I want. So, duplication tests will be first on my list. I hope that this is a bug on S8720 not on S8700 :)

Any news about this case? I've talked with our avaya representative and he asked tier 4 engineers about this problem and answer was that they didn't open any case regarding duplication on S87xx servers.

You don't need to deactivate patches because software will be installed on second partition. Just install new software and apply latest patches for CM2.2.2, use same license file and don't forget to turn on upgrade permanent!

Same problem in Croatia with S8300/G350 and MM722. Every day trunks go out of service (no sync). Only reset system 4 can bring trunks into in-service. We checked BRI lines with provider and it seems everything ok. Then, we replaced S8300 with IPOffice and after that we haven't noticed problem.

mrjedi, did you assign PE to Corporate Network interface (Eth0 in case that you don't have dual NIC)?

I have tried mix of G650/G700 on blade server (SBS3000) which has also PE, but I didn't know that is possible also on S8500. So we can add G650 even if CM has licences with SN of G700, this is nice. Thanks Dwalin p.s. probably, they had a lot of G650s on stock :)
