Is there a way to code in VBA for Excel - that if a particular cell is empty - it wont allow close?
My help files in VBA are not installed and thought I may get an answer quicker this wat than waiting for my service desk to re-install them.

I have it all set up now - but if I make a change to the Excel data sheet - it will not automatically update changes on the Org chart - any ideas? have a I done something wrong?

I am very new to visio - creating an org chart - used the wizard.
If i want the visio file to link to the excel sheet with my data - do i need to somehow code that or is there a function built in to do that?

Sorry - I do not think I explained myself very well.
Right now I am using countif <> 0. This works great - however it will count the null cells too because they do not =0 either.

What if I want to do basically a counta - with a condition?
I only want it to count the cells that have been entered into - that do NOT = 0.

That looks like a good plan. I apologize for yet another basic knowledge question - but here it is.
The checkbox I am using is named in Excel as Check Box 35
I know I cannot use spaces in the naming in VB - I tried quotes but it does not work.
