Org Chart link

Hi

I am very new to visio - creating an org chart - used the wizard.
If i want the visio file to link to the excel sheet with my data - do i need to somehow code that or is there a function built in to do that?

sorry if that seems like a lame question

No code is required. The wizard will walk you through linking to the Excel spreadsheet.

I have it all set up now - but if I make a change to the Excel data sheet - it will not automatically update changes on the Org chart - any ideas? have a I done something wrong?

Unfortunately not. The only way to refresh with the orgchart wizard is to rebuilt it.
