Thanks JefferP. once the feature in enabled, how does the feature work? do the phones just need a crisis alert button, and a cor that allows them to be a service observer? then, they press the crisis alert button to barge onto the call? i tried searching the sa code, but didnt find anything...
communication manager 8.1, is there a way for a station to be able to bridge/conference/observe onto a 911 call as it is in progress? crisis alert just notifies, but would be nice if they could press a button and be connected to the call as well. thanks!
have cm 8.1. recently changed trunking to a new provider. sip trunks with pri handoff to us. they are sending name, along with number. on the principal station with the did, they see name and number. on phones with bridged appearances of the did being called, they only see the incoming...
thanks all,
we do use tenant partitioning, but the attendant feature within that doesnt seem to do what we need it to. it requires a VDN with Attendant Vectoring turned on, which then takes away some other features we need. in my testing, calltype analysis tables seem to do what we want...
verify the correct serial number is being use, by doing 'sh sys'. have had refurbed gw's in the past where serial number on the label did not match what it actually was.
We have a network of several Locations, all on the same CM, 8.1. Each Location has its own Network Region/Location. We have a need to have '0' route somewhere unique, depending on the calling phone's Location in CM. i can do this with vrt tables that contain extension ranges for each...
have cm 8.1. looking for an analog phone to place in a hospital patient room that will answer itself, on speakerphone, when it has an incoming call. this will be used by patients who cannot physically pick up a handset, or press a button to answer a phone call. would also be interested in any...
is there a way to have 2 different greetings play based on a schedule/time of day? one greeting during normal hours, and another after hours? avaya messaging 10.7, thanks.
i asked this same question several years ago when on cm 5.2(thread690-1790111), kyle555 suggested putting stations and trunks in different tenants, and assigning different music sources to each. was not in a position to do that at the time. now, on cm 8.3.1, and utilizing tenant partitioning...
trying to get directions for recording the greeting callers hear when the called number is busy. i have found several guides that say it is under option 3 from the main menu, but we dont have that option available. am i missing a feature, or check box somewhere to allow this? thanks!
maybe this is the better question......what can i use to get alarms out of cm, and have them emailed out with useful info? such as, a media gateway being down, or a pri circuit being down. i know asa will do that, but it requires an instance of asa running with no one using it. thanks!
morning all,
have comm mgr 8.1 and system manager 8.1. have both setup to send snmp traps from cm to smgr, and email them out. however, the alarms are not very descriptive. what do i need to run them through in order to get something meaningful?
and, how do i keep the alarm log from filling...
have cm 8.1.3.4 and aacc 7.1.1.0. our agents are currently using h.3232 hardphones. with a remote worker rollout we are working on, will need to be able to use aacc with sip endpoints. we dont seem to be able to get aacc to recognize a sip endpoint, be it a desk phone or softphone. we get...
does ix have the ability to route multiple exts into one mailbox? modular messaging allowed you to configure secondary extensions within a mailbox to allow it to answer for multiple numbers. thansks!
nothing in the personal operator field for any mailbox, which is apparently the issue. when that field is blank, and someone presses 0 after the message tone, the call goes to the ext of the first mailbox in the system....seems dumb to me. this is fixed by assigning an Operator in the Language...
