We had horrendous problems, when we did this. The lessons we learn't were simple, but important.
1)If u r changing your entire Ip environment and have your clients running on DHCP. then do the following.
Add new boundaries to the sms server.
Shutdown all sms servers.

As long as you use the 20clicln.bat all should be OK. Have successfully de-installed sms off 450 P.C's and re-installed it back later. Word of advice make sure u use a different site code when u re-build. It will make it much easier to find any machines which aren't installing properly.
I have sms working perfectly (or as good as) in one domain. Since I also have another domain which is trusted by my existing domain. Can I use sms on the trusted domain, by simply adding the subnet that the trusted domain exists in?
