Thanks for the reply's, just to let you know, all i did was put the 9.0 cd in and done a defualt install. How can i tell what file system i'm using?

I've got a pc with 2 hdd, one has xp sp2 and the other has linux 9.0 i've never really used linux before. How can i make it possible so windows can see it's files? I have a home wireless network so it doesn't have to be the same pc but i'd prefer if it could do! Thanks, Mark

The options are fine in both. It must be somewhere in windows i need to get that menu up that used to come up. For example if i put in a cd with jpg's on the menu will come up and ask me if i want to view the pictures. What i'll do is just unsintall real player then reinstall it. I was trying to...

I've got both real player and windows media 10 on my pc. It's just been installed, when i put in a cd in came up with a menu of what i wanted to do. I seleceted open with real player then ticked always do this. How do i get that menu back? I also tried associating .cda to windows media player...

oh also i forgot to mention that it is NTFS!!

if i right click on a folder there is no security tab so if i go to sharing - make the folder private is greyed out. Also the folder is read only if i uncheck it click ok then check the properties again it's read only again. I am an administrator. I'm running xp sp2 just installed it.

damn i downloaded insight manager from compaq's website and it does really have that option when you open it! It just has instal msde or CIM

you could make a new contianer in active directory put the TS in there then create a policy for it.

At one of our sites when i put users in to a pc's administrators group it just seems to remove them after a couple of days. Is this a policy somewhere as I didn't make the policy for this site. If so where can i find it? Thanks, Mark

One of my users outlook does not remember the names of the people he has sent too. For example on my outlook when i type in someones name who i've previously sent to it comes up. But with my user it seems to reset itself every day! Can anyone help?

If i paste any text into my presentation it changes from 14 which was the original to 18. It's really annoying!!
