I have a 3580 LTO 2 drive attached to a p630 running aix 5.2. I need to backup 300GB and it took more than 8hours! I didn't install Atape.driver (my tape drive is seen as OTHER SCSI drive), is it causing my problem? I use aix backup command (backup by name). Thanks for any tip that could help.
