1) Go to your control panel
2) power options - apm ( advanced power management)
3) check it to activate.
If this is not working update all your files when you change O/S. Go to the internet and select
-tools
-window update
-select components to update
-service packs that need to be updated...
USB must be supported by the operating system in order to work. You might have to extract these files and download them to your computer. After this is done it should be able to pick up any USB connection you try to make.
You need all the pin on the motherboard to be set up to the right pin on the wire on the LED connection. Look in the motherboards guide to see which pin goes into the right connector. You might have them backward. Another thing if you have the pin right then it could be that the LED bulb is...
Is your computer still having this problem?
You could disconnect all your data cable and power cords from your Hard Drive, floppy, CD-Rom, one by one, to reset them. Check the RAM. Check the power supply as well. Make sure the wires on the motherboard are all set in correctly.
