public folder/link to AD user account

I have some public folders that were created without creating an AD user account, per se. Is there a way to create an AD user account, and then link it to the public folder? Or I have to re-create the whole account?

Stress testing new Exchange server tips

Anyone used Loadsim? I am trying to setup a test against a new server.. and I keep getting the error 'unable to initialze' when I run loadsim. unable to access WMI

How would I go about troubleshooting WMI access issues to from my desktop (XP/PRO) to remote servers (Win2k). I am a domain admin member, so I wouldn't think that would be an issue. Are there some group policies that might overide acces, or something inside of the WMI service itself? thanks!

Native Win2k Print Queue Load Balancing?

Did that... still no joy. 99% of all jobs go to one printer, unless is shown as 'off-line'. Paper low (for example) just queues up the jobs.

Native Win2k Print Queue Load Balancing?

Is there a way to actually load balance printers from Win2k?? We have a single print queue pointed to two HP laserjets, the only caveat is that 99% of all jobs go to only one printer (unless it is actually off-line).

    Rename security group

If I rename a security group, do the NTFS permissions follow the change across the entire AD tree? (e.g. I rename security group ABC to ABC123. Sec. group ABC has permissions to \\server\share. AFTER the rename, the newly renamed group ABC123 have access to the same \\server\share?) - Mike
