Is there a way to actually load balance printers from Win2k?? We have a single print queue pointed to two HP laserjets, the only caveat is that 99% of all jobs go to only one printer (unless it is actually off-line).

Setup printer pooling ...

Have both printers connected to same server (network or local)
Go to the ports tab of the printer's properties dialog box.
Check the enable pooling checkbox.
Then select or create the ports of the print devices that will be part of the pool.

Did that... still no joy. 99% of all jobs go to one printer, unless is shown as 'off-line'. Paper low (for example) just queues up the jobs.

Looks like you should disable pooling and seperate the printers. Assign 1 printer to half the users and the other printer to the other half.
