    You can get the worst scenario size for your DB by opening the Mailbox resources drop-down using exchange admin, select all the mailboxes, save the contents and then open the file in excel and total the size to give you the exact space used.

    iam not sure why this is happening. I would try reapplying SP4 for exchange and relevent the relelevt hotfixes. DO you have any users using outlook 2003 ? if yes, then allpy the hotfix for that as well, as that is known to be causging the store to hang.
