LD 143
.upgrade (I think you need software delivery card in A:)
then depending on the version...something like
system upgrade menu item
feature/parameter upgrade menu item
then no to all except to ISM parameters.
Be sure to have your new keycodes handy!
I just found out that in order to upgrade to Succession 3 I need to replace the 8MB simm on our SSC card with a 16mb simm. Does anyone know of an alternative to the stick provided in the NTDK19AA upgrade kit? Is it ECC or something more special? I tried a regular 16mb parity module I have and it...
Priceless is only half of its worth thanks to the wonderful folks that listen in. To john and others if you're ever in Niagara Falls let me know as the drinks are on me.
unkalary, I am also with Allstream and have been told that they deliver what we send out (at no additional charge :) ) unless we want them to override. I have resisted having them do it as I try to get CPND out. At present we show up as Unknown Caller. I will try this evening (after the late...
I noticed that RCAP is also an option on the route. Do both the DCH and route require the RCAP entry to get CPND going out? I have been trying to get CPND out with no success until I saw this thread.
I have IP LIne 3.0 running fine with i2004 and i2050. I am now exploring the use of VoIP gateways. Does anyone have any experience with these? If so any models in particular that have worked? I currently have a DLink DVG-1120 and I am getting some talk between it and the ITG-P card but the IP...
Well, a power cycle got everything back into shape, thank goodness. I didn't realize that a warm start really didn't initialize as much as I assumed (such as memory I guess!).
Well I have followed the suggestions, I am in Canada, and the name is not being transmitted but the number is going out fine. The telco says they are passing on whatever we are sending. Is there some way to monitor or see what is being sent with respect to the name, like you can do with enl msgo...
Thanks. I obviously have to accelerate this but before I do I am hoping to get some clarification as I don't want to overwrite or lose any useful backups I may have. I have 3 devices showing: C:, Z;, and B:. I understand that B: (and A:) are the PCMCIA devices for customer data backup. I am not...
A user came to me today indicating his phone (2616) was acting strange. I checked the settings on our 11c running 25.40b and every key on his TN was set to MCN 26 0. Rather bizarre. I went to out the TN before doing a CPY to restore it. As soon as I did it the switch rebooted. After it came back...
Thanks guys. You're great! I was looking at acd stats on the mail port. I now have it on CDR_DATA and am monitoring it on TTY port 1 and do see calls going into the DID. Of course I have another question. :)
Our main number goes directly to a meridian mail menu. From there there are options to...
I am working through CDR records in order to look at utilization. We run 25.40b on an 11c. We only have 2 DIDs at present, but are going to add more. One (our main number) goes through to a Meridian Mail menu and I see the CDR data when this number is called. The second DID, which rings on just...
Thanks. I had flashed the phone after putting it in service and the password problem appeared. After I used LD 32 cpwd to clear it it still didn't take the 12345678 default. So I reflashed it, did the cpwd and then the password disappeared. At least it's gone.
I have seen a thread here and a few elsewhere regarding clearing the callers list password on an M3903 but I have not seen a definitive answer (at least one that works on an 11c running 25.40b). The standard response is LD 32, CPWD TN and that resets the password to 12345678. The problem is that...
We just installed a PRI on our 11c running 25.40b and it is very nice having caller name and number showing up. However I noticed that this is not showing up on calls coming in to DNs associated with Key 1, 2 etc. Is this possible? If so please point me in the right direction. Thanks.
Thanks roupe. Our carrier is sending out whatever we put in for the CLID which is nice since we have the control. Do you know if names are defined then with the CLID or are names defined elsewhere? I talked to the carrier and they said they send on whatever we put out. I just don't know where...
Thanks a lot John. I hadn't used CLIDs before but I have it going out now. I doubt it is optimal but at least I have retained control rather than have the telco do it. My next job will be to sort through the incoming data so that I can use CDR to make sense of who is going where. Should be fun...
