Why is it when I restart the DC server it works fine.
After a day or two I end up in this situation?
The server is only for User Authentification.
I have re-installed this server twice so far.
Do you have an installation sequence to suggest.

When I try to open the property window for users or computers or any other element in the active directory link.
The properties window don't open but I get an error when I try to close the ACTIVE DIRECTORY WINDOW that says that one or several window are already open...
Follow up
I verified all XP Workstation, not all had the **make available off-line**.
For those who did I had to turn it on first then turn it off. Find out it was still on and when I get the message **not connected Off-line* clicked on the setting and removed all off-line intent checked box...

I neede do fully re-install W2K adv Servers + Domain Controller.
Kept the same domain name.ex: loc.here.com
But when users re-log-in the new loc.here.com the Win Xp pro does not use the same account but creates a new one with .000 at the end of it.
Ex,: loc.user1 >> loc.user1.000

But got a question:
Initialy they did not have a Domain controller but only a workgroup and all computers were XP HOME.
They would link up into a shared fold to the 16 bit App.
And they did not have the SYNC window.
Why is it different in XP PRO...
