oh, and another thing, when trying to export to pdf, the program occasionally crashes - or actually shuts itself down with no warning. this happens on both machines, so i dont think its a dodgy installation. cheers steve

hi all, i have a bit of a prob here, ive created an image (small logo) with text in illy, created outlines, and saved as an eps file. no probs there. however, when i place it into indesign (2) and export it as a pdf file, it looks shite. its almost as if the stroke on the design is too thick...

its ok now, i fixed the problem. i thik iwas the fact that the top line of the paragraph was 12pt text, while the rest was 10pt. cheers anyway steve

well... you were right. i clicked the centralised tab in the paragraphs box. ahem. cough... and it sorta worked. im embarrised. i use that in microsöft word all the time. so basic. i think i have to go to the pub and drink beer now. you know, to get over my embarrisment. i`ll have one for you...
