drop cap prob.

Hi all, a little problem that maybe you guys couple help me out with.
I have a document with pages with one, two, and three columns; all the paragraphs have a two-line drop cap. The thing is, when I view the document, the lines appear to be “staggered” or in other words, the lines in each column are not aligns with each other. If I turn on baseline grid, and set the lines to that, the drop caps appear to go over the text in the line below. I cant find a way to get around this problem. Any suggestions?

Sorry, I tried to recreate your problem (Made a three column text box, filled it with placeholder text then made each para a two line drop cap) All the lines lined up...

its ok now, i fixed the problem. i thik iwas the fact that the top line of the paragraph was 12pt text, while the rest was 10pt.
