    Have you checked the nic speed on all nic's that you are using and make sure they are all the smae i.e. 100 Full duplex and going through a switch that is configured with 100 Full duplex ports.

    Hi Check out the speeds of the port all the servers are set too, this can effect the time as BE 9 likes to have them all the same. Lambypie

    Hi Check to see if you are set to Auto Auto in the servers that you are backing up I have found that they must be set to the same speed as the Back Up server.. e.g 100 Full on all boxes and making sure the switch is set to 100 full on the ports in question Rgds Paul

    Hi Have you tried using the UNC path to the server. This works well as the name resolution has not got to be done as it works on pure IP.
