Add rights for the watching user to the gone users email account in AD. Then go into properties of the watching users Outlook and add the mailbox to their Outlook.

Right. I had to replicate the offline address list, OAB Version 2 and Free/Busy before I could move on.

I went from a 5.5 box to a new 2003 box. Yes, as I was moving them, the mailboxes were locked. Although the boxes still on 5.5 or already on W2K3, seem to work find during the move.
