Hi all,
I'm wondering if there's a way with VBA to make the mouse highlight objects, and then produce a hovering box containing results that are drawn from another worksheet?
To help explain, I have a picture of a world map, and a list of contacts, I've altered the cells to fit the...
Is there a way in Excel to only calculate the first two points of a decimal number?
For example, I have a forumla that produces the result 0.332521 - and I only want my calculation to be based on 0.33 (with no regards to the rest of the numbers), is there a way to either limit my calculation...
A query for those of you who are feeling less muddled than me.
I have a huge spreadsheet of international people, and would love to be able to make a flashy world map which would list contacts in the country/region when I scolled over that particular part of the map.
Possible using Excel in...
Thanks for the reply
However, I don't have Microsoft Office 2003 Language Settings Wizard, in fact my Office Tools folder goes straight into Resource Kit - and then lists my options.
Hello all,
I've recently come back from a business trip to Holland (and sadly, it was just business), during which I managed to acquire a copy of MS Office 2003, for a price which I though was quite reasonable - I've now got home, installed it, and marvelled at the wonderfully foregin language...
'lo all,
Is it possible to restrict access to certain features/sites on any internet browser?
Preferably I'd also like to be able to lock the settings so that you'd need a password to change them back.
Thanks
SDF - System Data File Format - Legacy Unisys (Sperry) Forma?
Taken from http://www.uktsupport.co.uk/reference/fext/fexts2.htm - does anyone know why it should appear?
Hello again!
I've just been asked what a couple of files are - one is called plugin142-01.trace, and on one profile it won't open - but on the other it's called an SDF file and is rather large.
What is it? Can I delete it? Where did it come from?
'lo all,
I know I can stop things starting up on booting the PC wby using msconfig - but is there any programs (preferrably free!) that will list what the programs are? And allow me to start and stop them from there?
Ta!
'lo all,
I have a computer running XP (1.21Ghz Duron processor, 256MB RAM) which suffers from a delay when you try to execute any programs.
This only happens when you first boot up XP, but the delay until the programs open can be minutes - there's very little running at the start up of XP...
Hello all,
I am currently trying to RD a computer running XP Pro, with one that is running XP Home.
I've sent an invite from the PC on XP Pro to the Home machine, but keep getting an error message:
"Remote Assistance connection could not be established because the remote host name could not...
Hello all,
I've managed to figure out how to use RD to control other computers on a LAN, and even from over the internet - but I'm not sure how I would go about such things when a router is installed on the computer that I'm trying to control, I need more than a little help, unfortunatley...
As is the best way in these situations, I physically changed my location to inspect the LAN.
I had previously advised them to delete the Network card from Device Manager, and re-boot the PC (seems to work for me on most occasions)
On arrival, it turns out that they'd not done this, and had...
Thanks for the quick reply
The winstock fix - would that be appropriate seeing as the PC was working just fine before it apparently shut itself down?
The workgroup is still the same as ever, and I'll have to give the safe mode option a go - although I was thinking that maybe it's a hardware...
Hello all,
I have a local LAN network of 5 computers (all running XP Pro) and while someone was using the main computer (Which serves as a server) it apparently shut down on them, upon re-boot they selected to boot from 'Last Good Config', and now the computer won't detect any of the others on...
