If you don't have a good backup, take note of the filename of the report that it says doesn't exist and look in the goldmine\reports folder for filename.bak files and rename to filename.fp or filename.bp, whichever it says doesn't exist.

Generate the Verif code at the site which accepts the incoming connection and write it down. At the site which initiates the connection, Go to file > synchronize > Goldsync admin centre. Expand until you see "site: ...". right click on this and go to properties. tick the "allow to sync" box...
I've had this before, it was only when the email centre or calendar was open. I rebuilt and indexed the databases and it was fine. We usually get it after a large mailout, which adds alot to the calendar.

Hi,
One of my computers is renaming xls documents to what appears to be a hex code, without an extension.
eg. renamed from FEB04.xls to 87633000 or 766d9910.
It changes as soon as the document is closed. The computer is running windows 98, with office xp, and the server is windows 2k server...
Thanks very much for your suggestions and help. The problem was with a faulty dsl modem/firewall which was interfearing with network traffic.

Hi I have a strange & frustrating problem with my network (win 2k server sp4, users run 2000 or xp).
Users can logon, get a valid ip address, and can ping the server. However they cannot access any shared drives on the network, nor any network printer. Then on 2 or 3 machines (out of 10)...
