The drives are software mirrored via Netware. This server has been around awhile. It's a Pentium I 233, it has been running and running with no problems.
I have a mirrored pair of SCSI drives on my Netware 4.11 file server. One of the drives failed. I was able to find the exact same drive to replace the failed drive with. It has been years since I built this file server. My plan was to down the server, replace the failed drive and reboot the...
Thanks for your responses. I checked the Dell and the Crucial sites. It looks like the only ram that is available for this motherboard is error correcting ram.
I have a friend who bought a Dell Poweredge Server a couple of years ago that he would like to sell to me. The motherboard has error correcting ram on it. I would like to add more ram, or replace the current ram with non-error correcting ram which is much less expensive. Can this be done? If...
We currently have a 5 user Netware 4.11 network. I am considering upgrading to Netware for Small Business 6.5. The accounting software we currently use uses the Microsoft Jet database engine which runs fine on my current version of Netware. There is talk that the software company may switch...
I don't think this is a printer driver issue. I have done a simular check modification with the same results. If I print to a different printer (HP Laser Jet 4) with a different printer driver I still get the same error.

I am having the same problem with Peachtree Premium Accounting 2005. It only happens when I modify a standard form. If I use a standard un modified form which came with PT I do not get the error. For example, I had to modify a standard check layout to get the name and address to appear...
The modified form is saved to the local drive. I have the same type of setup you do. As far as I can tell, Peachtree uses the form templates that are stored on the local drive. I haven't been able to figure out a way to store the forms on the network drive (the drive where the company data is...
I would install the service pack. I believe the last service pack to 4.11 is service pack 9. Install service pack 9 after your installation. You'll then have the latest Netware Directory Services (NDS) version. You need to run the netware administrator from:
F:\Public\Win32\Nwadmn32.exe
We thought about upgrading to gigabit too after we installed new Pentium 4 workstations running Windows 2000. All of the network adapter cards I looked at required at least Netware 4.2. We run 4.11 with service pack 8a installed. It runs so well I didn't want to take a chance. I did find...
"I have also tried this at system console:
set timesync time adjustment = +00:04:00"
The correct format is:
set timesync time adjustment=+00:04:00
remove the spaces after the last letter in the word adjustment. The adjustment will occur 1 hour after the command is issued
