We are hosting several sites on our server, (win 2003 std), and the IIS tree is getting crowded, and the worst thing it is not sorted by anything it seems, so I am having problems finding webs in the tree..
So my question is.... can I do anything to clean up the IIS tree? sort it by letters...
Well, I pulled an allnighter on this, and found the solution..
Here is what I did, (step by step)
1. NAT the router
2. Assigned the internal IP numbers in the Network
3. Inserted the IP numbers in the DNS
4. TURNED THE FIREWALL OFF (THIS DID THE TRICK)
5. Made the websites in IIS6, assigned...
I am having exactly the same problems with IIS6, Win2003Ser. I am trying to install 2 SSL licenses, but I can only view 1 site, not the other,, did u find out what was wrong Waely?
I also have specific IP addresses for each site, both internal IP and external IP.

I have no idea what Im doing wrong, but the thing is that Im trying to display information from this xml file (http://www.sedlabanki.is/gengi.asp) on my site, and either it doesnt work or I get a permsission denied error, (permission is totally open on this site so thats not a correct...
Found a much better way,,
in regedit, find a key called defaultCollation
and change it to what you want... that changes the whole SQL server, not just individual databases...

I have a Windows 2000 server, SQL 2000..
but the problem is that the SQL server was installed in case sensitive mode.
Is there any way to change that without re-installing the SQL server?
