Hello-
We need to setup a forward on somebody’s email account, although it’s not a simple forward. Typically when we need to forward we configure the forward by going to ADUC and adding a recipient under delivery options. This time we have a few more requirements and the typical scenario...

We have configured distribution groups which essentially represent the various departments in our organization. SMTP addresses have been attached to these groups so that internal users who use POP3 and IMAP can send to the groups.

If Exchange is not installed on the DC in mention you will need to do a custom install of Exchange on that system. This corresponds to steps 9 - 12 of the following article:

Also note that you can install this on an XP...

Ben,
Thanks for the tip... Domainprep has been run and I've also manually created the recipient update policy on for the child domain.
Weird, no errors, just doesn't work.
Our company has been running in a single domain. We recently added a remote office and configured a child domain. Our Exchange servers are located in our parent domain.
Does anyone know what additional steps would need to take place on the child domain in order to allow an account from the...

Hello All-
We have recently started to encounter a problem that prevents standard users running XP PRO SP2 from installing network printers. Upon attempting to connect to a shared printer, the user is presented with the following error:

Thanks- that did it. I knew that option had to be in there somewhere... Seems like a weird place for it to be.
This does exactly what we want it to do. Once a user's Exchange mailbox is configured within AD, the mail will be delivered to their Exchange mailbox, but until then, at least...
I’m going to migrate the users in our organization from externally hosted POP3 accounts to an internal Exchange server. I’ve been testing Exchange using my account for a couple days now and everything seems fine except for email delivery to addresses within our domain. It makes sense, though...
