ehlo-

We have configured distribution groups which essentially represent the various departments in our organization. SMTP addresses have been attached to these groups so that internal users who use POP3 and IMAP can send to the groups.

I would like to disable anyone from the internet from hitting these SMTP addresses. Is there a way to only allow internal users to send to these addresses while denying everyone else?

Thanks-

What happens when you actually look at the Exchange General tab of the DL?

C'mon, man - a simple search, or 2 minutes of poking around....
