Upgraded to 3.2.57 now License Status invalid

The dongle is on the VM server and was never removed. I was able to fix it though. I re-entered the licenses, which forced a reboot of the switch that seemed to bring them back. Crisis resolved. Thanks though

Upgraded to 3.2.57 now License Status invalid

We up graded our IP412 to v3.2.57 from 3.1.65, but now all the installed licenses are showing License Status Invalid. It sees the license number and quantities and shows Never as the Expiry Date, but the status is invalid and installed packages report no license installed. We have (had)...

How to keep Conference Bridge from dropping

Thanks, I was afraid that was what you were going to tell me. Just so I'm clear, Conference Center is the add on package. Correct? The only work around I can think of, is to place a second "internal" call to the conference and not let that line drop. Thanks again

How to keep Conference Bridge from dropping

Thanks for your help. I just tried a direct call to the conference bridge with the same results. I tried one of the short codes for one of our Bridge "quick connects", and I added an extension that is a ConferenceMeetMe and same thing. Whenever the conference gets down to just the host left...

How to keep Conference Bridge from dropping

OK. Thanks, but I think it does already. Our conference bridge is accessed by an extension (and shortcode) which routes it to a voice mail node. I assume it is so we cna use AA features. The final step, an assisted transfer, is *82*$KEY# I don't have a *82 short code, but I do have a...

How to keep Conference Bridge from dropping

We use our conference bridge to do simultaneous video/audio conferences. We use a Polycom iPower 9000 for the video portion, and our IP Office (IP412 v3.1.56, VMPro v3.1.16) conference bridge through a Polycom Vortex EF2211 for the audio portion. Our problem is when the last remote caller...

Cannot Transfer or Conference on 5420 phones

Hi Have a IPO 412 v3.1(48) with primarily 6408 and 6416 handsets. These work fine. However, we are trying a few 5420s and cannot get them to transfer or conference calls. They have the v4 FW. I have tried programming soft buttons, different handsets, different locations, all with no luck...

Upgraded IPO and VM Pro, Now no "Dial by Name"

I think I figured it out what the problem is, but need help to fix it. I created the new module and it did the same thing. However in testing I tried just putting in 1 letter. In my case an M and I got a list of 15 users. First names though. This prompted me to look at everyone's full name...

Upgraded IPO and VM Pro, Now no "Dial by Name"

No, I haven't rebuilt the module, but will. Yes, you do hear the users name when you call into their mail box.

Upgraded IPO and VM Pro, Now no "Dial by Name"

Tried, but no luck. I even tried entering the name of someone I entered today, thinking it would eliminate the question of existing users not getting carried forward in the upgrade, but nope. Still "Name Not Found

Upgraded IPO and VM Pro, Now no "Dial by Name"

Yes it is there. Just to be sure I browsed out and rentered the system variable. Still no joy. By any chance would restoring a saved call flow help?

Upgraded IPO and VM Pro, Now no "Dial by Name"

Yes, messages can be left, and the correct messages and names/reordings are correct. All the "name" recordings were preserved, so I didn't restore anything. The call flow is: Day AA calls come in through an assigned DID #. That number/extension has no assigned user. The incoming call route...

Upgraded IPO and VM Pro, Now no "Dial by Name"

I upgraded my IPO (IP412) from 2.0.16 to 3.1.48 and VM from 2.0.16 (I believe) to 3.1.16 and now I have no directory for the AA Dial By Name feature. The prompt is there, but no names are found. I have tried switching from using first name to last, but still no luck. Any Ideas? Thanks Mark

    Direct 2.1(27) to 3.1(x)

Thanks. I've found that one retains their sanity longer when you back up EVERYTHIBG before an upgrade. Thanks again. MBJ

    Direct 2.1(27) to 3.1(x)

I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but I want to be sure. I have a IP412 ver 2.0.16 that I need to upgrade. I have downloaded 3.1.29, but in the bin directory there are no previous versions for the 412. Do I need to download past versions to get the proper .bin files? Is doing the "step...

Number of rings to VM or AA on a TA824 TVA50 combo

Found it THANKS! I was able to go to the manual and then decipher where to make the changes in the software setup. (Section 3.2 - CO, Incoming/Outgoing) Now, all it gave me was 15s, is there something else to try to extend it some more. Thanks again MBJ

Number of rings to VM or AA on a TA824 TVA50 combo

Does anyone know if it is possible to adjust the time before VM or AA picks up on a TA824? It currently picks up at 2 rings and the users would like more time to answer, unfortunately I can't find anywhere to set it. Any ideas? Thanks Mark

    Nortel Norstar VOIP Question

Hey Thank Roland! Sorry for the delay, I was onsite away from Internet access. You answered my question. I was able to get the Feature *3 working before. I just don't think the users will use the VOIP if it is such a step intensive procedure. Sounds like it is a limitations of the Norstar...

    Nortel Norstar VOIP Question

Thanks. I tried that. What I got was a Memory key that is "Feature 808". What I am hoping to accomplish is a string of keystrokes in a memory key. Right now to access the system on the other end I have to dial the Hunt Group 400. This gives me a line 401-408 depending on what is available...
