Customer wishes to have an automated attendant answer all the calls now instead of receptionist. They use a T1/PRI and it is configured with sending 4 digits.
I tried to add a pattern to find the specific four digits and to delete those 4 and then to add 770. When I do that the system...
Even better. The piece on site is actually an ATA2. After I left the site and posted I started thinking about the connections on the unit and then it hit me. Getting a RAD now. Thanks!
That is how I have things configured but nothing is working. Everything goes to the automated attendant. Is it possible they aren't sending digits or the correct ones? Been on hold trying to get to the bottom of this.
We have a number for instance: XXX-XXX-1800. I have setup Line 160 as a...
Thanks. One more quick question for you. Caller ID isn't appearing any longer on incoming. Where should I start looking? This started when I removed two operator extensions that shouldn't have been and had to reprogramming those extensions for the buttons they needed.
Have a Nortel MICS with a RAD 2. I can connect via the phone port on it and call another extension no problem but when I do Feature 9** I get "Inactive Feature". I would assume previously configured or not it if were working I wouldn't get that. I tried cycling power. Any other suggestions?
It's a T1 PRI so it's following what is configured in the DID area. Not sure if/what I can do under PRI. Nothing configured there at all as far as I'm aware.
I already have the adjunct 6377 and the VM cover and AA. Just no primary coverage buttons.
In an old PC VM I recall being able to list more specifics for routing but on the Legend itself I thought you only have the one record and I need to match 377 and still let the others work properly...
PRI. All the extensions there are using DIDs so they are sending three digits. We are adding a 6 to the front as the extensions are 6300-6359. So people do call direct to various people. I can't impact the others. When it was setup we had the phone company modify their main# to send 377 and...
Have a setup where a circuit has DID so calls to their main# get 377 which is expanded to 6377 matching their extension scheme. 6377 is in the Merlin Messaging as an Automated Attendant and so it gets answered by the system. They would like to change it so that it rings 4-5 times to two...

Looking for help configuring this and getting it to work. I took my adapter and cable I normally use with WinSPM (V5) and put it to a Lanronix SD1101. I setup an IP on it (static) on the network at the Magix system location. I setup the redirector software that it comes...
Normally we have the attendant answering for 99.5% of our customers and then they make their selection. Also, most other customers really took advantage of DIDs for their people.
These guys are a bit old school in that they wanted all phones to ring. The external ringer is something that I...
You get people coming in and screwing things up because they don't understand why the loop...
Although it takes up more buttons and took some getting use to, the pickups on the specific extensions worked great to get around the problem. Would be nice if one button could do both aspects but it...
Hmmm.. We do have the pickup button on the phone so let me try that idea. I'll create one for each extension they are covering and see what happens. The looping would work as well but more to go wrong than if the p/u idea works... They could p/u as many calls as they have SA buttons correct?
