Nortel MICS with RAD 2

Have a Nortel MICS with a RAD 2. I can connect via the phone port on it and call another extension no problem but when I do Feature 9** I get "Inactive Feature". I would assume previously configured or not it if were working I wouldn't get that. I tried cycling power. Any other suggestions?

Does the cherry on the rad light up? May be a bad power supply.

I kind of remember accessing the rad with feature9**radmin. Not 100% sure anymore.

radmin was the password for the old RAD. On the FastRAD you enter your own password.

Even better. The piece on site is actually an ATA2. After I left the site and posted I started thinking about the connections on the unit and then it hit me. Getting a RAD now. Thanks!

Sounded like zeromeg was saying he could connect a digital phone to the wire pair (phone port) from the system and call another extension.
Hope this keeps me in a job ;-)

Amazingly, that ATA (no labels on it) is for the elevator!

I don't think an AHJ would accept that if he knew.
