    Are you sure you just haven't ICMP enabled on the outside Interface? icmp permit any outside Fine for testing but you might want to disable this or allow a specific IP once you are ready to install at a site. Allowing anyone to ping PIX from outside not good :(

    Leonardo, As far as I know the pen icon indicates an active lease that is waiting to be updated in DNS. It's a lease that has been assigned but waiting for a dynamic update in DNS, so it won't be given to another machine until this occurs. Hope this helps.
