Hello all,

I have a 506e used in our office which I have logging to Kiwi Syslogger on a XP machine on the inside interface.

My boss wants to be able to see what http sites people are accessing. I have initally set the PIX on Syslog 7 on both inside and outside interfaces but Kiwi cant resolve outside IP address.

For example: built outbound connection 7752 for outside 213.18.249.14(unresolved)8080/ to inside 192.168.1.19(Station008)

I think the problem maybe with my PIX config, which I will happily post if necessary. Thanks in advance.

logging on
logging trap debugging
logging 192.168.220.32 inside

does that work?

Afraid not, I have stopped and started the Syslog services but still the same.

CCNA,

Ahh...I think I have found the problem.

I have changed the fixup protocol to http 8080 this has caused syslogger to start to display http pages.
