New (used) Athlon Barton 3200 (200 FSB) problem

I tried taking the RAM out, still nothing. I tried safe mode (100MHz) jumper. I tried rolling back the BIOS one version and even back to the first version with 3200 support. I cleared the CMOS every time. I even tried setting the FSB to 200, then swapping in the new CPU. All nothing. I think...

New (used) Athlon Barton 3200 (200 FSB) problem

I have an MSI K7N2 Delta-L motharboard currently running 2600. Everywhere I look (forums, MSI site), this CPU (DKV4E) should work fine. When I start it, I get no POST, no beeps, nothing. I trust well that the CPU is not DOA. Is anybody aware of problems with this particular board & CPU combo...

Installing win95 on old computer with no CD-ROM

I got the cd install from the new computer to work. I thought I had the drives in the wrong order on the IDE ribbon, because when I brought the drive over to try the install, I found I had the wrong drive. I don't know for sure if this is the reason, but I think those older computers and/or OSes...

Installing win95 on old computer with no CD-ROM

Ok. I've tried alot of things so far, here's my situation. I have an old computer (Rhino VL+ ,486DX) that used to have win95 on it. Now it has nothing. I need to install win95 again. Things I've tried: #1: connecting my CDRW combo drive as a slave. boot disk can't find it, BIOS won't detect...

    Intermitent internet connection

same thing is happening to me. I talked to Linksys tech support about a myriad of network problems. All my problems seemed to be solved by doing what I'll call a 'deep reset': press the reset switch for about 10 seconds, then unplug the power supply from the router. hold for another 10-20...

Passing a variable to a form... stumped!

I'm REALLY stumped this time. It seems like my UserForm_Initialize() sub can't see my variable from the general declarations in the procedure that loads the form. Schedule worksheet: Dim lngRow As Long Private Sub Worksheet_FollowHyperlink(ByVal Target As Hyperlink) lngRow =...

How to return the row number where hyperlink lives?

Okay. I fixed the problem on my own. I don't know why the autofill was acting like that before. I deleted the hyperlinks and made a few manual ones, then autofilled the rest. For some reason, the cells 'thought' they were in row 3... which poses another paradox... not worth solving. mehhhhhh...

How to return the row number where hyperlink lives?

Actually the dummy cell is A1, and I have row 1 as a frozen pane. It works out perfectly, cuz it's a really tall sheet and when it tries to target A1, it's locked - plus it's always visible so it doesn't ever remove focus or bring the clicked link out of frame. The reason they all point to A1 is...

How to return the row number where hyperlink lives?

To clarify, Private Sub Worksheet_FollowHyperlink(ByVal Target As Hyperlink) is the event that triggers the code.

How to return the row number where hyperlink lives?

This probly sounds really simple, but I'm stumped. I have a table with a hyperlink on the end of each row. I need the form's function to be dependant on which row the link came from. The hyperlink points to a dummy cell, because I just want it to load a form. Target.Range.Row is the right...

    linked slices don't stay linked

I found the fix for the 2nd problem at the Adobe forums. They say it fixes the 1st problem, but it didn't... though it did fix the 2nd one. Do a search on the local hard drives for *.irs, find the 'Recently Used Optimizations.irs' files and delete them. Simple as that!

    linked slices don't stay linked

This is sortof 2 problems in one. I'm using Adobe Illustrator 10 on Win2000. First minor problem is that I can only 'Save for Web' once when I open a file, and then if I try again, it doesn't do anything. Does anybody else have the same problem? Second problem is when I link or name my slices in...

How to wait for the last frame, or....

And now it's time to end this thread for good. It turns out that my whole problem was solved with one word: "replace" I drew up a flowchart of sorts to figure out exactly what's happening amidst all the confusion, clean up the code, and to figure out where to start on getting rid of this...
