We want One-X agent users to be able to answer their calls by answering their ringing phone at their remote location, but some have to also click on the green phone icon to complete the call set-up. We have XP and Windows 7 machines, but it does not seem to matter with this issue. There is also...
Good suggestions, all. To clarify, we will have these several folks sitting at Avaya telephones where twin S8730s rule. They will get calls from the outside world to their DID during the day and night. At a prescibed hour, they will forward their DID to a Toll-Free number in order to have an...
CM 5.2 platform. Here is my interest:
20 people with separate extensions wish to forward to an after-hours center where someone at that center can help with callers issues.
The call needs to pass a specific ANI in order to play an ANI-specific announcement to the caller, assuring them that...
We have a G350 hanging off of twin S8730's. When another company office (stand-alone PBX) dials extensions on this gateway, the calls route to voice mail. Can the IP-Network-Region be affecting treatment of inbound calls from the PSTN this way?
When we touch the Options button (hard button), we hear a 'beep'but there is no response otherwise. We can't relabel buttons, can't verify settings, the button is simply disabled. Any suggestions? It is happening to 10 phones recently installed in one location. There are no 4625 phones in...
My guess is whatever happened, our SMTP servers didn’t used to advertise TLS capability but do now. MM tries TLS and fails and, unfortunately, doesn’t fall back to non-TLS, which is why we have to disable TLS altogether on MM to get it to work.

The MAS says successful notification, but the email does not come. Exchange servers working otherwise. is there a link between Exchange and MM that i need to explore?
If I have a caller application built, deployed, and associated on the system, am I able to turn the CA on and off by toggling the COS on the subscriber?
I apologize for being vague. I am aware of this settings form, but what is the actual maintenance object on the switch that generates the Zip tone heard in the ear?
Go to Deployed Applications\SERVERNAMEvmdom. Highlight Name in right window, right click and select Delete. Then Undeploy caller application from the domain. Follow the Wizard.
Step 2 - Delete the Caller application file from the folder in C:\Program Files\Avaya Modular Messaging\Caller Apps...
We have some corruption on a subscriber and would like to remove the caller app and mailbox in order to start fresh. For some reason, an incorrectly typed extension on one of the nodes was 'memorized' by the app and won't let it go, even after we had removed any reference to it.
What is the...
