How is Zip Tone generated on the S8700?

which board(s) provides zip tones in the S8700 environment? We are having delayed zip and need to know where to look for the root cause.

I apologize for being vague. I am aware of this settings form, but what is the actual maintenance object on the switch that generates the Zip tone heard in the ear?

A delayed zip tone is a software issue, not a hardware issue.

Tones can come from many board types depending on you hardware platform, cabinets, media-gateways.

Adjusting for a delayed ziptone can be done on the form.

tn2182, tn2312, tn744E, media-gateways have built-in tone generation.
