Browse List has several stations that have been retired

I have seen that article before ( but one more perusal could not hurt). While that article is focused on finding why a computer is not is the browse list, it offers a couple of interesting tests. (I will use the reference to one computer even though there are more than one) - ComputerX is in...

Browse List has several stations that have been retired

To be honest, I inherrited this problem so I cannot answer with any certainty. But it is likely they were just removed from the network, and removed from AD some time after that

Browse List has several stations that have been retired

My browse list has several stations that have been off of the network for months. I am seeing no event log errors and I have no clue how to clean them up. We currently use no WINS server and there are no DNS or AD registrations for these stations. I have tried forcing elections and...

    Slightly Different Multiple Domain Problem

I think a little more detail might be in order I understand how the VSI will masquerade a domain. I also know how to get individual users to use a specific connector (using delivery restrictions). But if I have a user who happens to be in 2 of those domains and needs to be able to send as...

    Stack Overflow

That is what i did initially. I am gettign a little closer to the answer. It turns out the overflow is directly related to the size of that array. I use it in a recursive call later. I suspected the problem was in the constructor because when i run the debug it craps out before gettign to...

    Stack Overflow

I am writing an assignment for school and I have run into a glitch. My program generates a stack overflow as soon as it runs the constructor for the object i am creating. The program does use recursion but it never gets to the recursive call (and it is not very deeply recursed anyway). Can...

    Message tracking and IP address

I have a user that claims they did not send a message, When I look at the tracking log there is no IP address associated with the message (when using outlook). I have looked high and low for an option to turn it on but cannot find one. Does anyone know how to enable IP address recording in...

    Hide IP address in header

How can I hide my IP addresses in the header information. The problem is when I send mail it goes from my back end server to the front end then out to the web. If I look at the header of the sent message it shows my internal IP. Can this be hidden?

Setting Exchange 2003 for Multiple Domain Names

I have been mulling this over for A while now. I am with you right up to the reverse DNS part. Since RDNS works on the IP address and most RDNS lookups only take the first name listed, if there are multiple I will end up with some mail being rejected unnecessarily. I know I can also setup...

    Blocking outbound e-mail
