Slightly Different Multiple Domain Problem

I have a server that hosts 5 different domains. I would like to have each of the domains send mail from a different IP address, does anyone know if this can be done?

One clean way:
Five SMTP VSI's
Five SMTP RG Connectors
Add Permissions to taste on connectors
Point each connector at its own SMTP VSI.

Any reason why you want to do this?

I spent a fair bit of time going over this yesterday and I was thinking along the lines you mention. But I am not sure how to get the routing group connector associated with a specific domain four outbound mail.

I think a little more detail might be in order

I understand how the VSI will masquerade a domain. I also know how to get individual users to use a specific connector (using delivery restrictions). But if I have a user who happens to be in 2 of those domains and needs to be able to send as each of the domains (using ivasoft scripts) then i am stuck. How would I force user@domain1.com to use connector 1 and user@domain2.com to use connector 2 (both accounts are the same AD account)

That last one will be a bit of a challenge.
Obviously you know all about using delivery restrictions on users to set what connector they can and can't use. You don't need any help with that.

However, I can't think of a way for you to specify which SMTP VSI a particular message will use when sent from a given user but from an address other than the primary.

It would have been good if you'd been able to mention that you were asking about individual accounts using different sending addresses.
