Snookless,
I don't know if the user is going to input the specific quarter or not so here's what you do if the user inputs the specific quarter...
If you don't care about parameters then I would put a string parameter in where the default values are "First", "Second"...
Yes, I used the totext() function.
Thanks, worked great!

Hi all,
I have a problem. I have converted a number into a string in a formula. But when converted to a string it adds commas aftert thousands. If the number was 1005 my formula is supposed to say 1005/2 but instead it ends up saying 1,005/2 and when scanned by a barcode scanner it messes...

Hi all,
I am making a report that prints the records in one table that do not have an associated table in another table.
Does anyone have any idea how to do this?
Table1 has 6 fiels in common with Table2.
I think this would be easy in the way that I link these two tables. I don't care what...
Sounds Good, and since I have yet to do any work with previous or next or had any need for formulas in record selection, that is probably why I do not know much about these two functions. (I've only been working with Crystal for about 3 months)
Thank you for your explanation.
And I would just...
Could someone please explain these two? And the advantage they have over just using forumlas rather than defining when they run during the report?
I know WhilePrintingRecords runs AFTER the database read, and WhileReadingRecords runs BEFORE the printing of data. If I am wrong with this...
I set my resolution to 640x480 and I saw the plus sign! Ha! I'm blind! Good job having great Eye-sight. I would have replied to this earlier, but on setting the resolution back to original, I went one past and into the out of range section of 1280x1024 and i had to restart in VGA mode to...
Thank you, but my formula editor has a x-2 button not an x+2 button

To all:
Is there a way to suppress a group header if there is only one group? I want the Group Header to show if there is more than one group, but if not, I don't want it to show the header for just one group. Any input would be helpful.
Thank you,

I am a Crystal report writer, and I imported a database into access because access is working easier than my current database right now, because of some software issues.
My problem:
When I import to access 2000, access adds a prefix to the table names. Where my table name is sample it would...
